The easiest way to meditate.

The reason I meditate, is because it allows me to still my hectic mind and listen. Meditation for me is observing and paying attention to whatever decides to arise. Often this can be clutter and other times intuition or guidance and other times a mind numbing boredom. Everything is welcome. My natural ego trip has been is to live core in my mind. We each have a core ego fixation and it focuses on either mind, body or emotion / image. My core experience is that of ‘mind’ so I need to remain vigilant that I am experiencing the world and not some make believe version of it in my head. As someone who lives from the mind (when I’m not being mindful), meditation allows me to experience my body. This may sound very strange and obvious but without my realisation, I rarely feel the full extent of my own body sensations. Tingling up and down my spine, the buzz at the end of my fingers and toes, the breath in and out, the feeling of water drops in the shower. Meditation is the stillness that brings me into the full experience of the world, a reminder that there is …
